-----Graphic Adventure Games
Dschump! 1.2 [DSCHUMP] (Peter Hinz, ASP; reg. fee: $34) is a puzzle solving
game from South Africa. The object is to navigate the bouncing ball across
a scrolling maze of tiles. If the ball misses any tiles, it will plummet
into the ocean below. Some of the tiles are fragile and will break if the
ball bounces on them. There are also other tricky tiles to watch out for,
such as the ones that will reverse the direction of the ball. Requires 500K
RAM, and VGA. It also supports Sound Blaster compatible sound cards and
joysticks. <BALL.PCX>
Duke2Map 1.0 [DUK2MAP] (David Bollinger, reg. fee: $0) is a mapping utility
for use with Apogee's Duke Nukem II game. It provides an on screen map
display for helping you navigate Duke through the first episode of the game.

Alien Spaceball 1.0 [SBALL] (Brian Porter, reg. fee: $?) is a simple
pinball machine game simulation. It is unplayable on a fast machine without
a cpu slowdown utility. <SBALL.PCX>
Stellar Defense 2.0 [STELLAR] (Bill Dickson, ASP; reg. fee: $14-24) is
similar to the classic arcade game Asteroids. Your objective is to destroy
asteroids that may threaten the supply lines to friendly starbases. Use the
missiles on your star cruiser to blow the asteroids apart. You will also be
engaged in battle by the evil Yarian invaders. Requires 580K RAM, and 256K
VGA Graphics. Soundblaster sound cards, mouse and joysticks are supported.

-----Large Arcade Games
Columns VGA [COLUMNS] (Michael Foegelle, reg. fee: $25) is a falling-block
type game in which gems fall down a vertical shaft in groups of three. The
order of gems can be rotated as the object falls. Get three of the same gem
in a row, horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. The matching gems are
removed and the ones above them fall down to take their place. <COLUMN.PCX>
Rescue! 1.2 [RESCUE] (Carr Software, reg. fee: $34) is an arcade game that
puts you in the seat of an armed hovercraft. Your mission is to scan the
thick forests and mountains for enemy vessels and rocket launchers. Use
your rapid fire cannons to clear trees and brush and to wipe out the enemy.
Rescue! also includes music and sound effects for soundblaster compatible
sound cards. Requires 640k RAM.
Xargon 1: Beyond Reality 3.0 [XARGON] (Epic MegaGames, ASP; reg. fee: $34)
takes you deep into the jungles of futuristic Madagascar. You must help our
hero Malvineous explore the mystical world of Xargon. You will encounter
several creatures in your expedition, including giant bees and centipedes.
Along the way, you'll meet up with the eagle named Silvertongue, who will
reveal your ultimate goal in Xargon.
This game is in the tradition of Epic's Jill of the Jungle, with a screen
full of high quality 256-color graphics, music, and sound effects. There
are 10 levels to explore and each level contains it's own soundtrack.
Requires VGA graphics, hard drive, and 545KB of RAM. A Sound Blaster
compatible card is required for music. Joysticks are also supporte <XARGON.PCX>
-----Card and Casino Games
BlackJack Plus [BJPLUS] (Musicode Software, reg. fee: $25) is a realistic
casino blackjack simulation. Features include joystick support, adjustable
playing speed, 1-9 decks, support for 1-7 players, hints, ability to set
the casino rules, printed statistics, and more. Requires EGA/VGA.
<BJPLUS1.PCX>, <BJPLUS2.PCX>
MVP Bridge 1.0 [MVPBRIDG] (MVP Software, ASP; reg. fee: $33) lets you play
bridge against the computer. A short tutorial on bridge will get you
started. The computer plays Goren with optional conventions: takeout
doubles, Stayman, Blackwood, and Weak/Strong two-bids.
Bridge games for the PC are notoriously weak and MVP Bridge may not satisfy
experienced duplicate players, but it is by far the best shareware bridge
game we have seen and will provide a good game for casual player <CARDS.PCX>

(GA-04) Gin Rummy Challenge 8.2a [RUMMYX] (Jim Cody, reg. fee: $0) pits you
against the computer in a game of Gin Rummy. NEW: support for FAXmodems and
COM1, COM2, COM3 and COM4.
-----Board/Strategy Games
Chinese Chess and Xianqi [CCHESS] (Roleigh Martin, reg. fee: $0) is a set
of two Chinese Chess games. Chinese Chess is similar to the standard chess
game. However, the rules of the game make it faster and the outcome less
predictable. Xianqi is another variation of the game. Rules for each game
and more information about various East Asian games of Chess are included.
ChessClock 1.0 [CHESCLK] (Mendel Cooper, reg. fee: $1) is a digital chess
clock with a visual move counter, settings range from one minute to 99
hours, an optional low-time warning, and an optional graphic tick
indicator. Player's end their moves by hitting any key. C source code is
included. <CHESS.PCX>
Scrabble List 1.0 [SCRABLST] (Mendel Cooper, reg. fee: $0) is a list of
words for scrabble players. You can find all words from the list that
contain a specified set of letters.
Simultaneous Match Player [SIMUL] (Pep-Cal SoftWare, reg. fee: $20) lets
you experience putting on a simultaneous chess exhibition by playing ten
different computer opponents at once, alternating one move in each game at
a time. The purpose is to let you try out a whole series of opening
strategies at one time.
Thor [THOR] (Sylvain Quin, reg. fee: $0) is a very strong Othello/Reversi
game. It allows you to play against the computer or to use it as an Othello
board to play another person. A complete set of functions for the study of
the game is included. Requires 512K memory, a high density floppy or a hard
disk with 2 mb of free space. <THOR.PCX>

(GA-05) Blockade 1.9 [BLOKAD19] (PC Solutions, reg. fee: $15) is a strategy
board game similar to Othello.
(GA-05) Dynamo Draughts 6.3 [DYNAMO63] (PC Solutions, reg. fee: $15-49) is
the European version of Draughts, a variant of checkers.
-----Logic/Puzzle Games
Cube 1.0 [CUBE1] (Cooney Applied Technology, reg. fee: $0) is a simulation
of a visual IQ test. Nine blocks, each with a different pattern on each
side, are stacked in a 3X3 grid. You're task is to arrange the blocks so
that they form a pattern identical to the one that appears in a smaller
window on the screen. A table will appear at the end of the game to show
you how long you took to complete each puzzle. There is also a cube
generator which will allow you to create your own puzzles. <CUBES.PCX>
Floatris 1.1 [FLOATRIS] (Loyd L Towe, reg. fee: $15) is a game in which
blocks float up from the bottom of the screen to the top in eight different
columns. Your objective is to move quickly to each column as the block is
released and position it before it reaches the top. Requires VGA. <FLOAT.PCX>
Jigsaw Puzzle Demo 1.0 [JIGSAW] (InTime Corporation, reg. fee: $30) creates
very realistic puzzle shapes. You can choose from large to small pieces.
There are five different pictures, each of which can be cut in different
ways for a total of 40 different puzzles. Requires EGA/VGA, 500K RAM, and
800K of disk space. This version only allows you to play with every 3rd

Modern Problems 5.017 [MP_ARC] (Malcolm Michael, reg. fee: $5-10) is a
collection of puzzles in logic and reflexes. You must figure out what to do
to solve each level. Features include arcade action, on-line hints, clues,
and demo mode. Requires at least a 286/12 with 512K of RAM, EGA/VGA and a
